Highgate Hill Residence
The residence are clocated on one of the oldest ridgeline road in Brisbane, and placed within a rich landscape environment iwht vegitations. The residence adopt two distinct identities to north and east side is diminutivly floating single level hovering over fine steel pin, and the living space locate to face this two sides are embracing the landscapes.
South and west reveals the vertical and monumential character.

| Vertical timber screen act like facade works as series of layer laid over the building volume. |
In responds to orientation and weathering, upper northern wall facade are galzed vertical timber mullions or sticks, open to landscapes and filter northern lights through.
the external opening has a fignaficent scale to allow the internal floor plate opens up to outdoor space. They have a lot platforms of constructed ground plane of timber deck, which was integrated with the site.
Northern and eastern walls can be opened via stadcing sliding glazed timber panel to elebrate the transition from internal space to external space.
Living dining area was located near the point off entry from street, and was on the middle level, separeted the private and semi-private space apart, make both the owner of this residence and the guest feel comfortable to living in.
The guest room and playroom was also located avoid the dining room, to provide a much more private space for the guests to stay in.
The void area acts like a spacial device, a extenuate the vertically of the tall tree outside, and to separated the bedrooms for perants and children.

As I can't find any site plans for this residence, so i made the floor plan, elevations and site plan up myself by the infomation I've got on my hand.
